The Marshlands Hat

Skill Level: Intermediate
Gauge: 21 sts = 4 inch
This pattern comes in two sizes, one for kids age 5 to 10 and the other
for older kids and adults.
It
calls for 200 yards of worsted weight yarn for the main color and 40
yards of contrasting color for the plant stems, with about 5 yards of a
light weight yarn or embroidery floss for the grass tops. The
stems could also be topped with flowers. It can be made with
or
without earflaps.
Our kit is made with medium weight Mohair Blend
yarn. We divide the main color into three colors to give it
more
of a landscape feel.
We have other medium weight yarn in 100% Wool, dyed, painted and natural, Silk Blend, Mohair Blend and Mer-made.
